About the Role
CrowdStrike recently acquired Humio, a Gartner Cool Vendor, and a platform changing the way people think about advanced log management and streaming observability to empower DevOps, ITOps, Security and more.
Now we are ready for you, a passionate, proactive marketing expert to head up our partner marketing efforts and develop and build awareness, create demand and drive revenue with strategic technology and reseller partners globally.
As the Partner Marketing Manager for Humio’s Log-Everything platform you will work with various types of partners to help them develop and deliver partner-led demand generation activities that enable partners to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and deliver growth in revenue from Humio. You will act as the primary marketing contact for these strategic partners including regular participation in team calls and in-person (when applicable) meetings and planning sessions. You will be the partner’s primary marketing contact and will be responsible for educating the partner on our modern, index-free streaming observability platform that enables customers to log everything and answer anything in real time and at scale.
You will have creative marketing ideas to combine with extensive analytic and data-driven customer demand generation experience. Ability to effectively communicate with some of the most agile technology companies in the industry, including both technical and non-technical audiences is critical. You should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. You will work closely with the channel and partner sales team to identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to market to with a joint value proposition for using Humio. A deep understanding of cloud architecture and the cybersecurity landscape are critical to this role.
Work with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Demand Gen, and Commercial Partner team to identify priorities and partner marketing initiatives.
Define annual joint marketing strategies, objectives and measures of success across the strategic partnership.
Develop and execute best-in-class partner marketing plans and campaigns that are executed globally and drive broad awareness and adoption of Humio.
Own setting partner marketing targets and contribution to the business. Set metrics, analyze data, and be accountable for achieving the targets.
As the owner of partner communications, engagement, and experience, deliver relevant, engaging, multi-channel partner campaigns. This includes communicating with the Humio partner ecosystem as well as onboarding new partners through partner recruitment campaigns.
Develop detailed campaign project plans, including: goals, messaging, calls to action, marketing distribution channels, follow-up activities, and success metrics.
Facilitate executive alignment between Humio and partner leadership—managing executive business reviews, dashboards and reporting.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in partner marketing, demand generation in high-technology companies, in the enterprise software space.
Expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing with and through the partner community.
Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required; enterprise software experience preferred.
Thorough working knowledge of best practices in digital marketing and social media and strong written and verbal communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
Experience in managing multiple partners of varied sizes to build marketing programs appropriate for their goals.
Excel at cross-group collaboration with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization.
Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.
Strong creative thinker and problem solver, driven by a bias for action.
Willing to travel to meet with sales leaders, partners, and attend events (when applicable)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study Preferred Qualifications.
Knowledge and experience with a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including field marketing, digital marketing, and events.
