About the Role :
CrowdStrike is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead. This position will report to the Assistant Manager - Accounts Recievables. You will be required to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable collections teams in India
Required to Lead and develop the Global AR teams i.e Collections,Cash applications & Dispute management.
Develop and meet cash forecast targets.
Perform analysis of collection practices and policies and develop recommendations
Own the A/R aging Portfolios, which includes analyzing delinquent accounts, preparing reports on highest risk accounts and recommending action for resolution.
Conduct weekly reviews with the team to help them drive cash flow.
Work with Sales, external customers, and other relevant areas of the business to resolve issues related to billings/Contracts & sales orders and any disputes raised by customers
Participate in the financial statement close, including finalizing of data for Bad Debts and preparing Bad Debt Reconciliation.
Manage withholding tax process including all relevant postings and the collection of WHT certificates
Establish and maintain reporting metrics and report cards to identify key sources of errors and areas where the process can be improved. Share metrics with management to increase awareness, productivity and drive improvements
Maintain complete documentation accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Collaborate with Business Development, Sales Ops, Legal and IT teams to suggest technical solutions to business process problems
Perform special projects upon request from all levels of management.
What You’ll Need:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Accounts Recievables Credit Collections (End to End process) with at least 3+ years proven management/supervisory experience with the ability to lead and develop staff.
MBA Finance or Accounting Degree.
Must have worked in a Global multinational and/or SSC environment with Teams like Order to Cash/Quote to Cash,Accounts recievables, Collections, Cash applications and Dispute Management.
A solutions-oriented team player who enjoys a dynamic work environmen
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including executive team members.
Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks within minimal supervision
Excellent organization skills with multi-tasking abilities
Must have excellent work habits, including the willingness to work the hours necessary to meet important financial deadlines
Proficiency in MS office skills, specifically MS Excel and MS Word, intermediate level in Excel, including proficiency with vlookups and pivot tables a plus. Knowledge of NetSuite is preferable.
Experience with a “Shared Service Center” will be a big plus.
Shift time: 2PM – 11PM IST. Candidate must be flexible with the shifts.
